Sam Horn, co founder of SPLMAX.com and the Equalizer, is a 23 year veteran in mobile electronics. Sam has designed and built some of the largest car stereos in the world, including the 130,000 watt Boss Armor Car featuring sixty 15” woofers and the Boss Cannon, the first vehicle to break the 160 dB barrier at an officially sanctioned event. In his many years on the competition circuit, Sam has competed in 13 states and 3 countries.

In 2000, Sam retired from the competing to pursue SPL show promoting. Over the last 6 years, Sam has produced over 160 events in 12 states and 3 countries. Sam is a certified 1x, 2x, 3x and 4x judge for dB Drag Racing. Originality is one of his best features:
